Kentucky Attorney General Greg Stumbo says the two substitute justices named to the state's Supreme Court should disqualify themselves. The justices were appointed to hear a case involving the hiring practices within Governor Fletcher's administration.
The governor appointed jeffery burdette and ronald green on friday...To fill in for two justices who removed themselves from hearing the case.
Stumbo says both appointees have contributed to fletcher's political campaigns. Fletcher's office says burdette and green are highly qualified appointees with high integrity and that the contributions would not affect their ability to hear a case.
