A Glasgow church has recieved more than 30 responses to a survey asking Kentucky Legislators and legislative candidates if they are christians.
Barren County Attourney Jeff Sharp is conducting the survey with members of his youth group at Gethesmane Baptist Church in Glasgow.
The survey consisted of a single question: "Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?"
But Rep. Kathy Stein of Lexington has filed a resolution asking her house colleagues to disregard the surveyt and all "Theocratic Tendencies."
Stein is Jewish and calls the survey an "intimidating, bullying letter."
Beth WIlson of the American Civil Liberties Union of Kentucky says the survey is constitutional as long as it's not done with public time or funds.
