Gov. Fletcher was handed back his gubernatorial powers Friday afternoon and is resting comfortably at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Doctors say they've removed more than 95 percent of a blood clot. They will put him on a blood thinner for the next three to six months.
First Lady Glenna Fletcher says she's thankful for all the prayers and support.
The governor is expected to stay in the hospital a few more days.
