Governor Fletcher has been released from the hospital, saying he feels better than he has in weeks.
The governor was rushed to Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington last week with a blood clot in his arm and upper chest.
Fletcher says he realizes the procedure was serious and in the course of the last two hospitalizations, he even made up a living will.
He's to be on a blood thinner medication for several months and will have to take precautions not to cut or bruise himself. The governor says he'll use an electric razor as part of that caution.
Fletcher's been working on a few state issues such as the Louisville arena and the state budget.
The governor says he will likely be reducing his travel time on the road as he's recovering.
