Former Bowling Green City Commissioner Dies

A former Bowling Green civic leader and long-time barber has died.

Jack Sublett passed away Monday morning at the Medical Center.

Sublett was a Former City Councilman from 1965 to 1967 and a City Commissioner from 1968 to 1969.

He was also Chairman of the B.G.M.U board for four years in the 1980's.

Sublett was a barber for over 50 years and owner of Jack Sublett's Barber Shop.

The funeral arrangements aren't set; they will be under the direction of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
