Greek Village

Five fraternities at Western Kentucky Universtiy are planning moves to new houses as part of a Greek VIllage being backed by the school.
The planned village will be at the base of a hill on the north end of campus and will be designed and built or paid for by the fraternities.
Architechture Professor, Neal Downing, says the village will improve the neighborhood.
The University donated the land to the organizations, but the homes must fit with existing school architecture.
That means buildings will be 80 to 90 percent brick, with certain roof pitches and other details.
The fraternities taking part in the Greek VIllage are Sigma Chi, Phi Delta Theta, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Nu, and Sigma Phi Epsilon.
