Bluegrass Meets Big Apple

The Big Apple will get a taste of the Bluegrass State's best.
Five renowned Louisville chefs will prepare a dinner on April 3, 2006 with Kentucky Proud Products at the James Beard House in New York City.
An Agriculture Commissioner says the Kentucky Department of Agriculture and The Kentucky Cattlemans Association each are giving $500 toward the purchase of Kentucky Proud Food Products.
The chefs will prepare using bison from Kentucky Bison Company of Prospect, cheese from Kenny's Farmhouse cheese of Glasgow, striped bass from Aquaculture of Kentucky of Coldwater, and beef tenderloin from Green River Cattle Company of Greensburg.
