House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says when it comes to President Bush's record, "name the subject," and Bush has been "a total failure."

Pelosi has made a rare personal attack on Bush, rather than his policies, during an interview on CNN.

She says on the economy, on the war, on energy, Bush has lost all credibility with the American people.

Pelosi is criticizing Bush for challenging Congress when she says it's trying to sweep up after his mess.

The White House is not letting the remarks go unchallenged.

Spokeswoman Dana Perino notes this is the longest Congress has gone in 20 years without passing a single spending bill.

Perino suggests Pelosi may be feeling some frustration.
