WKU assistant basketball coach David Boyden was arrested on July 18, charged with Driving Under the Influence and three other traffic violations.

Boyden was stopped just before 4 a.m. after Bowling Green Police say he was driving 73 in a 45 mile-per-hour zone of Russellville Road.

A breathalyzer test found his blood-alcohol level at .115, which is over the legal limit of .08.

Boyden was charged with speeding. DUI, possession of an open container and failure to provide an insurance card.

He was arraigned in Warren District Court on July 18 and released on a $750.00 unsecured bond.

He's scheduled back in court August 28.
