State Police are handling the investigation of a fatal accident involving a Bowling Green police cruiser.
The collision happened Sunday night at 13th Avenue and Kentucky Street in Bowling Green.
Police 20-year-old Ali Carter of Evansville died yesterday of crash injuries after she drove into the path of an oncoming police cruiser.
Twenty-four-year-old David Hall of Bowling Green was driving the police cruiser. He was treated and released from a local medical center.
The accident report says Hall's cruiser struck Carter's car in the driver's side door and the impact pushed the two vehicles into a vacant lot.
Carter was identified as a Western Kentucky student.
