The Kentucky Bank in downtown Nicholasville was robbed just before 12:30 p.m. on July 23.

Fortunately, it was a quick arrest.

The suspect was apparently lingering around the bank when a person noticed him and notified the authorities of his strange behavior.

Police say they were already on their way when the suspect decided to actually "pull off" a robbery.

The suspect tried to make a smooth get-away, but drove down a dead-end street and was arrested just a few minutes later.
