The issue of Tibetan autonomy has attracted increased attention this year with China hosting the Summer Olympics.
In China, residents of Beijing are being asked to keep quiet when it comes to interacting with tourists at the upcoming Olympic games.
Authorities have put up a series of posters telling residents not to ask tourists about their income, expenses, age or love life.
The new guidelines are apt to get people think twice before chatting it up with the over 500,000 visitors expected at the games.
