BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- More than sixty five teams enjoyed the gorgeous spring weather by participating in the 25th Annual Boys and Girls Club Charity Golf scramble in Bowling Green today.
All benefits from the tournament go to the Boys and Girls Club's general fund.
Crosswinds Golf Course hosted the event.
The first round of the scramble teed off around 7:30 this morning. The second group started around 12:30 this afternoon.
The sponsorship of each golfer was $125. The teams consisted of four golfers.
"This is probably the second most teams we've ever had play. Our sponsorship is way up, just the amount of people we have out here. I don't want to jinx it, but I want to say this could be our biggest one yet," said D. C. Clement, Bowling Green Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors President.
Houchens Industries was the main sponsor of today's fundraiser.
