Some area high school students are getting a sober reminder of the dangers of drinking and driving heading into prom and graduation season.
Hughes and Coleman Attorneys at Law and WBKO have teamed up for "Arrive Alive," a program challenging teens not to drive drunk.
This morning, juniors and seniors at Glasgow High School heard stories of how alcohol-related accidents had torn families apart.
Hughes says he was compelled to bring the program to area schools, because he too suffered a personal loss due to a drunk driving accident.
After the presentation, students were given a pledge card to sign, promising not to drink and drive.
The students must have their parents sign it and mail it in to be eligible for prizes.
Other area high schools are also participating in the program.
