Ray Nelson says it's important to be prepared. He says there is no evidence of any intended terrorist attack on Kentucky. Nelson also says that situation could change.

Here are his tips to be prepared:

  • Learn about terrorism. Know the symptoms of small pox, anthrax and rysen.
  • Be ready to help. You may be the first responder to an emergency scene. Learn CPR and basic first aid.
  • Get involved in your community. Citizens are the ones who know when something negative is happening in their neighborhood.
