While many this weekend were protesting the war, some were taking a more peaceful approach. This evening around 50 area residents attended an interfaith candlelight vigil for peace.
The service included readings from the Jewish, Christian, and Muslims traditions with songs, prayers, and a candle lighting for peace. The Warren County Ministerial Association, which organized the event, is asking that all local churches set aside time every Friday at noon for prayer as the war with Iraq continues.
