Brownsville Bicyclist Killed by Car
A Brownsville man was killed when a car hit his bicycle on August 13.

A Brownsville man was killed when a car hit his bicycle on August 13.

Edmonson County Sheriff's Deputy Ricky Sanders says the call came in at about 8:45 yesterday morning.

39-year-old Wes Denham was riding his bike on Highway 259 about a mile-and-a-half south of Brownsville when he was hit from behind by a car driven by Jessie Vincent.

Denham was pronounced dead at the Medical Center in Bowling Green just after 9:30a.m.

Denham was a State Farm Insurance agent who often rode his bike to work in downtown Brownsville.

The investigation is continuing.
