Russell Springs can brag about something no one else in Kentucky has; it's the home of Miss USA.
And the Southcentral Kentucky town wants to let everyone else know.
Mayor Brian Walters has contacted the state to get city limits signs that proclaim it the "Home of Tara Conner, Miss USA 2006."
And he's planning a homecoming parade for Conner.
Conner's win has been the hot topic in the town of nearly 25-hundred. She was crowned Kentucky's first-ever Miss USA last week.
The 20-year-old Conner is a Somerset Community College student. She has been competing in pageants since age four.
Conner will represent the US in the Miss Universe competition in Los Angeles on July 23.
