Marjorie Helm reminisces often over days she spent at the Austin general store her father owned. The store has been in the small community of Austin in Barren County for more than one hundred years. In the past residents could buy just about anything they needed there.
Marjorie says she used to only go to Glasgow twice a year but now she goes everyday.
Many generations have come and gone and the walls are lined with antiques to prove it.
No matter how many changes the store undergoes and how many generations pass through Marjorie hopes the store keeps running. Because to Marjorie its more than a store but a place to call home
