Immigration Boycott

Church groups and organizations from across the state plan to participate in a march today that's part of a nationwide effort to bring attention to immigrants' issues.

Many are planning to boycott work to show their value to their communities, though organizers in Kentucky say they aren't encouraging the boycott.

Immigrants and activists in Louisville will march downtown from the Gene Snyder courthouse to the federal building to deliver petitions to the offices of U.S. lawmakers.

Organizers say marchers will carry tools that represent the kind of work they do.

The march is scheduled for 11 a.m. (Eastern Time).
