The man accused of murdering a pregnant teen Monday night is found dead in the Warren County Jail.
Kentucky State Police say the body of 29-year-old Michael Cofer was discovered around seven o'clock this morning.
According to KSP, the jail was in lockdown until six this morning.
At that time, Cofer was alive.
Cofer's cellmate told police Cofer left their cell at that time and went to a bathroom area where he was found dead.
Cofer turned himself in early yesterday morning following the beating death of 18-year-old Okari "Shea" Moore at the Grant Village apartment complex.
Moore was 22 weeks pregnant.
State police are not releasing Cofer's cause of death.
His body is being sent to the state medical examiner for an autopsy.
