The ninth annual Junior Achievement Mini Corvette Challenge presented by the Martin Group will be Saturday April 26 at Beech Bend Raceway.

Qualifying heats begin at 9:30 a.m. with the championship cup races starting at 1:30 p.m.

Spectators will also have a chance to see "real" Corvettes race on the adjacent dragstrip as Junior Achievement has partnered with the Corvette Museum's C-5 Birthday Bash.

The race is free to the public and is a fundraising and awareness-building event for Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky. In the past eight years, the event has generated more than $220,000 in funding used to increase JA programming.
