The talk of tonight's events at the Democratic National Convention is former President Bill Clinton and Senator Joe Biden.

They gave their speeches supporting Barack Obama for president tonight, in another effort to create unity among the Democrats.

Clinton said Obama is ready to be the next president of the United States.

He compared himself to Obama, recalling criticism during his campaign regarding his age and experience.

"It didn't work in 1992 because we were on the right side of history and it won't work now because Barack Obama is on the right side of history," said Bill Clinton.
