Police say they went to a home in the Sycamore Trailer Park on Thursday morning to interview someone as part of an investigation.
Police say when they got to the home, several shots were fired at the three officers. Police now think there may have been more than one person taking shots at them.
No police officers were hit.
Police have evacuated 25 homes in the area as a precaution. They are continuing to search for the shooter or shooters.
