Friday was Theodore Roosevelt Day and students at Rich Pond Elementary came to class with mustaches, spectacles and teddy bears.
Friday's program was inspired by an article about the 100th anniversary of the teddy bear and the historical connection to Theodore Roosevelt.
Students collected about 200 bears that were given to the Child Advocacy Center.
The guest speaker was Jonathan Roosevelt, the great-great grandson of the 26th President. He came all the way to Rich Pond from Massachusetts after the students sent convincing letters persuading him to come.
