A western Kentucky man is charged with murder in the death of a man who was found in an Owensboro motel room.

Police charged 46-year-old Dennis Shreve of Ohio County Wednesday.

He's being held at the Daviess County Detention Center without bond.

Shreve is charged in the death of 21-year-old Dustin Condor of Owensboro, whose body was found august 19th.

Police say Shreve told them Condor was playing with a gun and accidentally killed himself, but later changed the story and said Condor was shot in the head when the weapon discharged as the two men struggled over it.
