Logan County Sex Offender Faces 35 Years in Prison
A convicted Logan County sex offender pleaded guilty to seven crimes yesterday and now faces 35 years in prison.

A convicted Logan County sex offender pleaded guilty to seven crimes yesterday and now faces 35 years in prison.
44-year-old Merlin Overholt was originally charged with 149 counts of sexual crimes involving ten victims under the age of 12.
Charges include sexual abuse, sodomy and illegal sex with a minor.
According to the News Democrat and Leader, Overholt was charged with an additional 12 sex crimes on a separate victim.
Final sentencing for Overholt takes place November 7.
Overholt is lodged in the Logan County Detention Center until that time.
