An accident in Adair County leaves one dead and four others injured.
Carole Neat of Columbia crossed into the center line on Kentucky 61, when she struck a truck northbound driven by 50-year old Tony Grider of Columbia.
Neat's car then spun into the path of a pickup driven by 43-year old Anthony Price of Columbia. Neat and Price's vehicles came to a final rest off of the roadway. The pickup driven by Grider continued off of the right shoulder and overturned several times, coming to a rest in a creek.
Tony Grider was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The four others were taken to an area hospital, including a three year old infant.
The three adults were later airlifted to the University of Louisville hospital for treatment.
