A total of 6,500 people are still without power in Muhlenberg County in the wake of Hurricane Ike.

There are still several residents of Muhlenberg County without water. There doesn't seem to be anyone who knows exactly why, or for how long, the water will be off. Many people were unaware that there would be a shutdown of the water supply in the area and were caught unprepared for the situation.
