A Bowling Green man faces 2nd degree manslaughter charges after striking and killing another man who was riding on a moped.
The Warren County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene on Veterans Memorial Boulevard just after seven Monday evening.
Deputies say the operator of the car, 47-year-old Johnny Roberts, as well as his passengers, 24-year-old Megan Wilson and 53-year-old Troy Long, all of Bowling Green, were charged with several alcohol related charges, as well as tampering with physical evidence.
All three were lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
The operator of the scooter, 21-year-old Marricus Cox of Bowling Green, was transported to Louisville where he was later died because of the injuries sustained in the crash.
The charges against Roberts have been upgraded to 2nd degree manslaughter.
Other charges are pending and the investigation continues.
