CBS Reporter on U.S. Soil

By Associated Press |

More than a week after being wounded in an Iraqi car bombing, CBS reporter Kimberly Dozier is back on American soil.

She arrived at Andrews Air Force Base on a flight from Germany where she was being treated at a U.S. military hospital.

Her recovery will continue at another military facility in suburban Washington.

She suffered serious injuries in the Memorial Day blast, which killed two members of her crew, a U.S. soldier, and a translator.

About 40 other patients were also on the plane that brought Dozier home.
