LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Two men have been indicted in central Kentucky in the deaths of a Richmond couple who disappeared two years ago.
The Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/Kf627l ) reports 27-year-old Matthew Denholm and 26-year-old Daniel Keene were each charged in the Madison County indictments Wednesday with two counts of murder, two counts of kidnapping, one count of first-degree burglary, one count of tampering with physical evidence and two counts of abuse of a corpse.
The men were arrested two months ago and charged in the deaths of 30-year-old Sonsaray "Sonsi" Warford and 30-year-old Charles "Chew" Walker. A judge earlier ordered the bodies preserved for evidence, and the families have not been able to bury the couple.
Commonwealth's Attorney David Smith says he hasn't decided whether to seek the death penalty against Denholm and Keene.
