3 Charged in Historic Allen Co. Cabin Fire

Scottsville police have charged three minors in connection with burning down a piece of Allen County history last week.

Third degree arson charges were filed Monday against a 17 year old male, a 15 year old male, and a 13 year old female.

They are accused of burning a log cabin on the Dumont Hill Historic Site, a Civil War battleground.

The cabin was built two years ago from 200 year old timber.

Police say the cabin was valued at $10,000 dollars.
