Bowling Green police say burglars are breaking into new homes being built, and stealing refrigerators, microwaves, and dishwashers. Someone broke into a new house in Cumberland Ridge, and stole more than $3,000 worth of new stainless steel appliances.

Other thefts have been reported in new subdivisions off Three Springs Road.

Crime Stoppers Update: Tip leads police to recover stolen riding mower and trailer, but it's not the ones highlighted in last week's Crime Stoppers. Police are still looking for the 52-inch Grasshopper midmount, the 50-inch Craftsman, and the red 5X12-foot tandem trailer with individual fenders they were on.

If you have any information about any of these thefts, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE, or click on this Crime Stoppers to get to their Web site. You could earn up to $1,000 for your anonymous tip.
