Police say a black male robbed the Taco Bell on Stonehenge at 9 p.m. last Saturday.
They say he entered the side door, said he had a gun, and told the clerk to open the cash register. Witnesses say he then reached over the counter, grabbed $429 in cash, and ran out the door toward Rock Creek.
Police are looking for a black male, 6-feet 3-inches tall, weighing 175-pounds. He was last seen dressed all in black with a white hat and white shoes.
Police are also looking for whoever burglarized Fazoli's on Scottsville Road sometime Saturday night. Authorities say when the managers arrived Sunday morning, they discovered the rear drive-thru window broken, and the safe dragged outside.
The phone line had been cut, but the safe had not been opened and the money was still inside.
If you know anything about either of these thefts, please call the Bowling Green Police Department at 393-4000.
