President Bush's surprise visit to Iraq was so secret not even the Iraqi prime minister knew about it.
Bush left Camp David Monday night, in a nondescript helicopter.
He flew to Andrews Air Force Base and used a rear door to board Air Force One.
Wearing casual clothes and a ball cap, Bush then announced his presence to the handful of reporters and aides who had been sworn to secrecy.
Eleven hours later, while most of the world thought he was still at Camp David, Bush landed at Baghdad airport and took the riskiest part of his trip, a helicopter hop to the heavily protected green zone.
