This afternoon a group of special needs soccer players laced up their cleats for the last time this season.

Top-Soccer started with four special needs players and now at the end of its third seaso, are up to 16.

Bowling Green High School's soccer coach, Craig Widener, says players are paired up with varsity soccer players and get a chance to socialize, exercise, and meet new people.

"I just like to see smiles everywhere, the kids have big smiles everyone's laughing having fun. They're meeting some of my varsity players getting to know them and look for them when they come back...which is a rewarding experience", says Coach Widener.

The players' ages range from five to 20.

They have any number of special needs including autism, down's syndrome, and cerebral palsy.

Top-soccer is open to anyone with a special need.
