Western Kentucky University students had a chance to practice voting in a mock election today.
The election was sponsored by the Secretary of State's office, WKU's Student Government Association, and the University Centers and Leadership Program.
Students had the chance to vote for President of the United States, and the U.S. Senate.
"We want as many students active and understanding how to vote, especially in their home - absentee or non-KY voting", said WKU SGA President Johnathon Boles.
WKU led participation for mock elections for the state's universities with 710 students voting.
Until today, the University of Kentucky had been in the lead with 228 students voting.
Barack Obama won WKU's mock election in the Presidential Race.
