Many families with loved ones overseas fighting in Operation Iraqi Freedom are having problems paying their monthly bills.

The families of National Guard members are especially hit hard.

Under the Soldiers and Sailors Act, guard members don't have to worry about losing their civilian jobs when they are deployed but they do have to worry about decreased wages.

Many times, military pay is far less than what they earn from their civilian jobs, leaving their families with financial worries.

Even as President Bush declares an end to combat in Iraq, thousands of U.S. soldiers remain overseas.
