Every year tens of thousands of children in Romania are left in orphanages that are extremely over-crowded and under-staffed. In fact, in Romania, orphans are called the forgotten.
But one family from Woodburn will be staying in Romania for the summer hoping to help. Angie Pace saw a special on ABC's 20/20 14 years ago that changed her life. It was a story exposing the conditions of orphaned babies and children in Romania.
Since that time Angie has kept those children in her mind. Then two years ago she saw a follow-up story with her husband and they both decided to volunteer in Romania. Now they will be going back again this summer with their three boys.
