A top military official in Iraq says it will take D-N-A tests to confirm two bodies recovered south of Baghdad are the soldiers who vanished after a battle Friday.
Major General William Caldwell says the bodies were spotted last night, but teams had to wait for daylight to evade booby-traps.
According to an Internet statement, AL-Qaida in Iraq is claiming responsibility for the deaths.
The statement says the man who currently heads the group carried out the killings.
