A fatal accident closed down Kentucky 101 for several hours before re-opening.
The accident occurred at the Warren and Allen county line just after 7 a.m.
Fifty-two-year old James Albert Smith was traveling north on Kentucky 101 when his vehicle dropped off the right shoulder, struck a bridge and then re-entered the roadway.
The vehicle came to a final rest on the highway and caught fire.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen county coroner. An autopsy will not be performed, but the investigation is ongoing.
Kentucky 101 was shut down for several hours, but is now back open.
