A western Kentucky coroner says a four-year-old Indiana girl fell from her family's boat and drowned Sunday during an outing on Lake Barkley. The body of Ann Brasseale was found on the lake bottom in 20-foot-deep water at Little River Bay. Trigg County Coroner John Mark Vinson says the death was an accidental drowning. The girl's parents had anchored their boat within swimming distance of Sandy Beach so that family members could swim. When the child fell, about 30 people at the beach swam out to the boat and dove to try to rescue her.
