Ernie Fletcher was in Washington Wednesday when he received news of a unanimous Supreme Court ruling allowing him to remain a candidate in the Gubernatorial primary.
Opponent Steve Nunn and his opponent, Bob Heleringer had challenged the issue.
Fletcher's former running mate, Hunter Bates, was disqualified for not meeting residency requirements and Nunn maintained Fletcher should be kicked off the ballot as well. The primary is May 20.
