The America's Junior Miss competition awarded $20,000 in scholarships last night as 50 contestants competed to be one of eight finalists.

Eight finalists will be named at the start of the finals today at the Mobile Civic Center Theater in Mobile, Alabama. They will compete for the title of America's Junior Miss and a $50,000 scholarship.
