A South Central Kentucky man who was acquitted of a 2001 murder has now been sentenced on drug charges.
Twenty-four-year-old Denarrius Terry of Russellville was sentenced for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of firearms. Terry was sentenced to 10 years in prison and four months supervised release.
Terry was acquitted last August on murder, wanton endangerment, and robbery charges.
Terry had been convicted of those charges in 2003 but the "Kentucky Court of Appeals" overturned that conviction in March of 2005.
