Domestic Dispute May Have Caused Triple Homicide

WBKO has learned a man who police say killed his in-laws had a domestic violence order against him.

Kentucky State Police out of Elizabethtown say Wendell Bratcher, of Louisville, shot and killed Stanley and Betty Hayse, of Caneyville. Police say after Bratcher killed his brother and sister-in law, he drove to his mother-in-law, Clara Brook's, house in Morgantown and murdered her. Bratcher then killed himself.

The Jefferson County EPO Office says Bratcher's wife, Charlotte, had a domestic violence order against him. It lasted until 2009. The office says Bratcher was ordered to surrender his firearms and to stay one thousand feet away from his wife.
