Baseball Bat Murder Update

Just past midnight Sunday morning, police were called to 1329 Kenilwood Way, where they discovered the body of 38-year-old Lee Ford Johnson. Johnson had been killed by several blows to the head with a baseball bat.

In Judge Brent Potter's court Monday, 23-year-old Christopher Lee Hackworth pleaded "not guilty" to murder. His pretrial conference is set for 1:30 p.m. July 26.

21-year-old Tonya Renee Ray pleaded "not guilty" to murder by complicity. Her pretrial conference is also 1:30 p.m. July 26.

Both remain in the Warren County Regional Jail without bond.
