Preley Nash is a typical three-year-old girl. She likes to put on make-up, eat ice cream, and play with her baby doll.
But Presley is in need of a Bone Marrow Transplant, because she has a degenerative disease called Mannosidosis.
Mannosidosis is a storage disorder and Presley's body doesn't have an enzyme that needs to break down large molecules.
Symptoms of this disease include: hearing problems, impaired language, recurrent infections, skeletal malformation, and muscular problems.
To help the Nash family raise the money for the transplant, Girls Inc. is sponsoring a car wash June 27 and 28. It will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the McDonalds on Campbell Lane.
An Antique Road Show will be held on June 30, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bowling Green Community College. For a $5 donation per item, you'll receive a verbal estimate of value for your item.
An account is also set up at the South Central Bank on Campbell Lane under the Presley Nash Care Fund. All donations are tax deductible.
