Sniper shootings along Interstate 65 leave one person dead and injure another.
There was panic on I-65 yesterday when sniper shootings targeted two pickup trucks.
Indiana State Police say other vehicles may have also beed targets.
Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels ordered The National Guard and The State Department of Homeland Security to be on standby.
Daniels says he will use all available resources to find who is responsible and make sure people can go about their business safely.
The victim was identified as Jerry Ross of New Albany, Indiana.
Police are also investigating two shootings along I-69, about 50 miles Northwest of Indianapolis.
